Carey Kirkella is a commercial and fine art photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. She studied photography and media arts at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY; earning a BFA on a full 'Talent Search' scholarship. Her work has been exhibited and recognized nationally and internationally by galleries and institutions, including the Jenkins Johnson Gallery in New York City, the Santa Fe Center for Photography, the Noorderlicht International Photography Festival, and Humble Arts Foundation.

Prints from her personal ongoing portrait series of her niece, ‘Julia’ and from the documentary project ‘Dance Recital’ are in the collection of renowned photography collector Joe Baio in New York City.
